The Texas Lawbook is providing constant updates on Hurricane Harvey’s impact on the legal community. Along with several Texas attorneys, Gray Reed is proud that two of the firm's lawyers have been involved with relief efforts in the Houston area. 

Houston of counsel Robert Eckels, former county judge of Harris County and Texas House of Representatives member, was part of the core group that current Harris County Judge Ed Emmett enlisted to transform the NRG Center into a shelter that held up to 10,000 people.

Dallas counsel and State Rep. Jeff Leach of the Texas House of Representatives traveled to Houston last week to assist with boat evacuations.
