Sofia Adrogue Selected as a 2011 Most Powerful and Influential Woman of Texas

Sofia Adrogué has been selected as a 2011 Most Powerful and Influential Woman of Texas by the National Diversity Council. Sofia was selected for providing leadership excellence in the public and/or private sectors and for sustaining a record of accomplishments and contributions to field of work throughout scope of her career. Sofia also demonstrates leadership and commitment to community well-being as well as demonstrating a commitment to the highest ethical standards and professional excellence.

Sofia handles complex commercial litigation and multi-party proceedings in state and federal courts as well as in ADR proceedings throughout the United States and abroad. She represents clients in all industries, ranging from entrepreneurs in rural Texas to multinational conglomerates with diversified worldwide business holdings. She also represents parties in peer review proceedings and/or before state regulatory or licensing agencies in the healthcare arena.

She is a "Texas Super Lawyer," TEXAS MONTHLY Magazine; Texas' Lawyers Top "40 Under 40"; "TBOY Blazing Star," Texas Women's Chamber of Commerce; Texas Executive Women "Woman on the Move"; HOUSTON CHRONICLE Channel 11 "Texas Legend"; Houston Jaycees "Outstanding Houstonian"; Texas Jaycees "Outstanding Texan" and U.S. Jaycees "Outstanding Young American."

AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell and a Who's Who in American Law and American Women, she is a frequent CLE Speaker and/or Chair (over 100) and publisher (over 60). An alumna of Harvard Business School, she  recently served as the U.S. Keynote Graduation Speaker for HBS  Owner/President Management  Program (OPM 37), ostensibly the first woman, as well as U.S. Class Representative.

Sofia has been chosen as a Texas Bar Foundation and Houston Bar Association Life Fellow. She is a graduate and Senior Fellow of the American Leadership Forum as well as a graduate of Leadership Texas and Leadership Houston. A native of Argentina, Sofia has been recognized for her public service by the City of Houston with a proclamation of July 4, 2004 as "Sofia Adrogué Day."
