William Morris Elected to Texas Family Law Foundation Board of Directors

William Morris, a Member at Gray Reed & McGraw, was elected to the Board of Directors for the Texas Family Law Foundation. With over 35 years of experience, Mr. Morris is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. His practice focuses on Family Law Litigation, Collaborative Family Law, and Mediation.

The Texas Family Law Foundation is a voluntary organization comprised of lawyers, Judges, Associate Judges, legal assistants, court coordinators and other professionals who strive to improve the practice of family law.

Mr. Morris served as Associate Judge for the Harris County 247th Family District Court from 1982 to 1993. He has chaired the Gulf Coast Family Law Specialists and the Houston Bar Association's Family and Collaborative Law Sections.  He serves on the Family Law Council Legislative and Formbook Committees, is a member of the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists and the Burta Rhoads Raborn Family Law Inns of Court. He has taught Marital Property Rights and Family Law and is a mediator.

Mr. Morris graduated from the Kansas State University with a B.A. in 1969 and a J.D. from the University of Houston in 1973.
