Greg Sampson Honored by Dallas Bar for Pro Bono Efforts

Greg Sampson, a Member of the Dallas office of Gray Reed & McGraw, was honored by the Dallas Bar Association’s Probate, Trusts and Estates Section as they presented him the 2013 Honorable Nikki DeShazo Pro Bono Award.  

The Honorable Nikki DeShazo Pro Bono Award recognizes an attorney who has enhanced the human dignity of others by improving or delivering qualified pro bono legal services to those around Dallas County. Some of the services that qualify include wills, trusts, estate planning, guardianships, elder law, probate matters, probate court dispute resolution and other legal services generally provided by members of the Dallas Bar Association’s Probate, Trusts and Estates Section. Generally the services are targeted towards persons of limited means, low income communities, disabled individuals, first responders, military personnel and other similar public servants.

Greg Sampson is Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and focuses his practice in the areas of estate planning or trusts, executive compensation, and asset protection planning. Greg has extensive experience in counseling clients on wealth transfers, including estate and gift tax planning, charitable planning, retirement planning, estate and trust management, family asset management, fiduciary duties and business succession planning. He also provides guidance regarding the operation, management, and taxation of tax-exempt organizations, including assisting clients with the establishment of public charities, private foundations, and supporting organizations.
