Gray Reed Strengthens Commercial Litigation Practice with New Attorneys

Gray Reed & McGraw strengthens its commercial litigation practice with the addition of three new attorneys, Gene Besen, Tonya Meier and Alexis Foster.

Gene Besen, a shareholder in Gray Reed’s Dallas office, focuses his practice on commercial litigation. He has represented financial institutions, pharmaceutical corporations, hedge funds and utilities in all phases of litigation, and also has significant experience handling investigations and civil enforcement proceedings brought by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Gene is a graduate of the SMU Dedman School of Law and Brandeis University.

Shareholder Tonya Meier focuses her Dallas-based practice on commercial litigation on behalf of businesses in the areas of environmental law, contract disputes, fraud, employment and DTPA violations. She maintains an active trial practice in both State and Federal Court, and is a graduate of The Boyd School of Law at the University of Iowa and Monmouth College.

Alexis Foster, an associate out of the Houston office, focuses her practice on commercial litigation and appellate law. A graduate of Baylor University School of Law and Texas Christian University, Alexis has significant experience in the steel industry and related legal matters including both domestic and international business litigation.
