Gray Reed's Jennifer Gurevitz Earns Certification in Tax Law

Gray Reed & McGraw is pleased to announce that Jennifer Gurevitz has received her Board Certification in Tax Law by the Texas Board Legal of Specialization. Jennifer was one of three people to pass the tax specialization exam for 2015.

A shareholder in the Dallas office, Jennifer focuses her practice on the handling and structuring of business transactions, partnership and corporate tax planning, and corporate governance. Jennifer also practices civil tax controversy and resolution, and has extensive experience in nonprofit organization and governance. Her practice areas include healthcare, real estate transactions, energy matters, international deals, business joint ventures, start-ups, reorganizations and corporate separations. Jennifer holds a B.B.A in accounting and a M.P.A in accounting with an emphasis in tax from the University of Texas. She earned her J.D. from the University of Florida, and her LL.M in taxation from New York University in 2005.

The Texas Board of Legal Specialization, under the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court of Texas, certifies attorneys in 21 select areas, and is the only organization authorized to provide this service to Texas citizens. Board certification signifies an attorney has substantial, relevant experience in a select field of law, as well as a demonstrated, and tested, competence in that area.

With Jennifer’s certification, Gray Reed joins an exclusive club of Texas firms boasting three or more board certified tax attorneys.
