When I started practicing employment law years ago, I thought race discrimination was a thing of the past. I believed people were too enlightened for that nowadays. I wish I were right. As you can tell in today’s news, race discrimination still exists. Most of the time, it’s just quiet and hidden. In some cases, it’s an unintentional consequence of otherwise neutral policies.

 

I would have liked a more uplifting topic for the end of the year edition, but I just didn’t plan well this time. I wish you a wonderful holiday season!
