Clients value my compassionate approach and unwavering dedication to their needs in complex estate planning matters. They trust me to guide them through the emotional and technical aspects of the planning process, give them a clear picture of their options, and help them design the best strategy for protecting their families and businesses.

Carolina Redondo focuses her practice on tax-efficient trust and estate planning for individuals and families. She advises clients on a variety of sophisticated wealth preservation and transfer strategies, including wills, trust structuring and modifications, charitable planning, family limited partnerships, business succession planning, and much more. Carolina also guides clients through the probate and estate administration process, including asset gathering and appraisal, debt payments, beneficiary distributions, and preparation of estate and gift tax returns.

Before joining Gray Reed, Carolina practiced in the trusts and estates group at a global law firm focused on private client and wealth management matters, particularly estate planning matters such as exit taxation and tax liability of domestic and foreign non-grantor trusts. In addition, Carolina gained tax planning and due diligence experience as an associate at two Big Four accounting and consulting firms, where she assisted in outbound and inbound mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, cross-border transactions, reorganizations, and spin-offs.

Carolina’s language skills enable her to represent Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking clients and communicate effectively with parties to a transaction in their native language.
