Paul Yale Earns Certification in Commercial Arbitration

Gray Reed & McGraw attorney Paul Yale recently earned his certification in Commercial Arbitration from the A.A. White Dispute Resolution Center at the University of Houston Law Center. Paul now holds certifications in both mediation and arbitration.

Paul, a shareholder at Gray Reed and the energy practice section head, has 38 years of experience working in the oil and gas industry, both domestically and globally. He spent 27 of those years with ExxonMobil Corporation and its predecessor companies. Today, his practice focuses on both domestic and international upstream oil and gas transactional, title and dispute resolution matters. He is licensed in multiple U.S. jurisdictions and has extensive experience in most major U.S. oil and gas basins—offshore and onshore. Paul earned his J.D. from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law and attended Vanderbilt University for his undergraduate education.

The A.A. White Dispute Resolution Center was created to foster public awareness and understanding of conflict resolution and the impact of interpersonal disputes on society. It is housed within the University of Houston Law Center’s Blakely Advocacy Institute.
