Gray Reed & McGraw's Greg Sampson Elected as State Bar of Texas District Director

Gray Reed & McGraw is proud to announce attorney Greg Sampson’s election to the State Bar of Texas Board of Directors as a District Director for District 6, Place 5. Ten district directors were elected this year.

During Greg’s three-year term as a district director, he will work with fellow directors and officers to execute and achieve the strategic plan of the State Bar and make recommendations to the Texas Supreme Court concerning rule changes. Directors meet quarterly, serve as a member or chair of at least two Board committees or subcommittees, and act as Board advisor to SBOT sections and standing committees. He will also serve as an Advisory Board member to the Dallas Bar Association.

Greg focuses his trusts & estates practice on estate planning, asset protection planning, trusts, executive compensation and non-profit entities. He is highly experienced in counseling clients on wealth transfers, including estate and gift tax planning, charitable planning, retirement planning, estate and trust management, family asset management and taxation of tax-exempt organizations. Greg is Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and earned both his J.D. and B.A. from Southern Methodist University.
