Gray Reed Named Outstanding Mid-Size Firm by Houston Bar Foundation

Gray Reed received the Outstanding Mid-Size Firm Contribution award at the Houston Bar Foundation’s Annual Luncheon held Feb. 21, 2017 in Houston, Texas.

Recipients were chosen for outstanding contributions to the Houston Volunteer Lawyers, which provides pro bono legal services to low-income residents; for volunteer service to the Dispute Resolution Center, providing free alternatives to formal litigation; and for legal writing in the HBA’s professional journal, The Houston Lawyer.

In 2016, Gray Reed handled more than 20 pro bono cases, sponsored quarterly clinics at the Houston Area Women’s Center non-resident location and helped to spearhead the Houston Volunteer Lawyers’ collaborative family program.

On hand to accept the award was Gray Reed Energy Associate Brooke Sizer, chair of Gray Reed’s Pro Bono Committee, and Family Law Associate Ellie Natenberg.
