Lofgren Elected as Chair of the DBA Probate, Trusts & Estates Section

Norm Lofgren, a Member of Gray Reed & McGraw, has been elected as Chair of the Dallas Bar Association's Probate, Trusts & Estates Section. The Probate, Trusts & Estates Section: 1) provides continuing legal education for Dallas attorneys in the areas of probate, trusts and estates; 2) works to promote good working relationships among the probate bar and three Dallas County statutory probate courts; and 3) serves the needs of the public in the area of wills, guardianships, probate matters, and probate court dispute resolution on a pro bono basis.

Norm's practice focuses on taxation, estate planning and family wealth protection and transfer. In addition to the Probate, Trusts & Estates Section, Norm is also a Director of the Baylor Health Care System Foundation and teaches in the financial planning certification program at Southern Methodist University.

Norm graduated with a B.A. from the University of Missouri, a J.D. from Oklahoma City University and an L.L.M. in Taxation at Southern Methodist University. He has been selected as a Super Lawyer by Texas Monthly and Law & Politics magazine each year since 2005, and was selected as a Texas Monthly Five Star Wealth Manager for 2010 and 2011.
