Meagan W. Glover
Associate

My goal is to help clients efficiently resolve disputes without going through a long discovery process or trial – whether it involves negotiating a favorable settlement or presenting the issues concisely and persuasively to the court to win by dismissal or summary judgment. If a quick and efficient solution isn’t available, I’m always prepared to reach the best result possible in the courtroom.

Meagan Glover represents clients in commercial litigation matters before state, federal, and appellate courts involving a wide range of business disputes, including breach of contract, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, theft of trade secrets, covenants not to compete, and products liability. Her clients range from family-owned businesses to Fortune 500 companies spanning several industries, including energy, healthcare, insurance, construction, and finance.

In addition to commercial litigation, Meagan has defended employers against a variety of workplace misconduct claims both in litigation and during EEOC investigations in cases involving allegations of discrimination, retaliation, harassment and hostile work environment. She has also represented insurers in coverage disputes and declaratory judgment actions involving the duty to defend and indemnify under professional, excess, and D&O liability policies.

Before entering private practice, Meagan had the privilege to serve two years as a law clerk for Judge Lynn N. Hughes of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. During her clerkship, Meagan not only learned how complex cases are evaluated from behind the bench, she also learned how to prepare winning written arguments. Because many of Meagan’s cases are in federal court, clients benefit from her strong familiarity with the federal procedures and her ability to focus the court’s attention on the most important issues when drafting and arguing dispositive motions and appeals.
